R.I.P RIley - Help a Grieving Mother

As i was reading through blogs i came across Babes Rockin Mami's Blog and instantly started to cry.. I also saw it on Nanny's blog as well cant even come up with words to put on here.

As a young mother who lost her first born i can feel this mothers pain. If there is any way you think you can help even if it is just spreading the word around. Please go over to Babes blog to find ways to help!

You may remember I mentioned that my friend Sandra lost her son on Thursday.  Chris and I are the type of people that if a friend is in need we try to help.  We can’t be with her right now so we are organizing an auction and starting a donation drive.  Sandra is a young mother who lost her son, something that we hope to never go through.  It’s a tragedy.  No one plans to bury their child, least of all the mother of a baby.  Of course since Sandra didn’t plan to bury her son the expenses are enough to cripple her young family.
I am organizing a charity raffle to raise donations for Riley’s memorial as well as cash donations and would love for your help to get the word out.  Right now there is a donate button over in the sidebar (and codes below), as soon as I know who’s donating what I will start a list.  This will end on January 31st with a drawing for the prizes.  Every dollar donated will count as an entry.  You will need to email me right after you donate so that I can attach your name to your dollars (therockinbakery@gmail.com)  I would love for anyone with company contacts to try to get some donations, cash or an item!  I have emailed the ones that I know, maybe you have worked with companies or you have a friend with a business that would love to donate a product or cash.  Anything you can offer is a huge help.  Post about it on your blog, donate a dollar, ask a friend, whatever you can do.  Babe and Riley were just a month apart, Sandra and I shared pregnancy stories, ultrasounds, fears and firsts.  It always seemed like if one boy was doing something the other was right behind him or had been doing it.  Both boys loving, sweet, funny little boys whoe changed both of us for the better.  I see so much of me in her as a mother.  The rest of her firsts are gone now and as a mother and a friend of Sandra I want to do everything I can to help and I know that you will too.  Our blog family can help this family with this burden so that they have one less thing to worry about in the recovery from the death of Riley.   Feel free to email me any questions that you may have!
The Rockin’ Bakery will be donating 25% off it’s profits to The Riley Memorial!  We can’t do much but we can organize this raffle, donation drive and donate the profits to it.

If you write a post for The Riley Memorial please link it up

My heart goes out to this family and i pray that God gives them strength !
