So this morning[Japan Time] my husband finally got to see what billets he could put orders in for. Mostly i know that Japan is always an option [ emm i refuse to stay here]
Virginia is always an options[ once again i refuse]
and Cali is usually always on there with other random places i wouldnt mind visiting.
[first a lil back round on us: I am from NY and my husband from NJ! so we have never been to the west coast! when we first started talking bout where wed like to be stationed we said Cali and were hell bent on it too!! ]
Well this morning my husband calls to tell me our options .. it went something like this: CA,TX,VA,CUBA, and NY. as he got to sayin NY i thought i was dreaming because that is just to close to home for us not to notice it was on there. Never ever did i think NY would be an option unless my husband went recruiting. OBVIOUSLY I WAS WRONG. as i have previously mentioned before my husband recently lost his father and has been wanting to get stationed closer to home. closer to home had previously meant anywhere in the USA. now there is a ray of light glistening thru for NY. But i refuse to excited about it because being in Japan, NY is a long shot thanks to the NAVY not liking to cough up the extra money to send ppl to the east coast! they rather send everyone to the West Coast.
I am leaving this all in GODs hands and where ever he chooses is where wed go!

How exciting!! I will have your family in my prayers to end up in NY, but ultimately God will put you where you need to be. Nothing the navy does ever really makes sense to me (as far as moving people goes). My husband and I are from Southern California and we thought for sure we'd be staying west coast for our first set of orders at least, but nope!! The navy threw us for a loop and we are being stationed in Virginia Beach!! Its gonna be so hard to leave our families and friends behind, (well at least for me, my hubby already has the past 9 months)and I am pretty terrified! Anyway, i hope everything works out with your orders and you guys end up in a place you'll love! :)
Thank you so much.. our first duty station was Virginia and even though we are from the east coast i disliked that place sooo much. Some of the locals [ pretty much 18+ yr old] are sooo hell bent into gettin a military man they dont care if hes married or not. i would love to go to any of the 3 places but kinda rooting for new york since the husband promised me that he will take overseas orders after NY [ if we get it. i am aiming at Italy LOL.. welcome to being a navy wife =)
