Time to pick orders!

I know i havent blogged in a few days but i also havent been feeling well [ blahhh] well today when the Husband went off to work he calls me telling me that he has a copy of orders he can pick from.. we are up for shore duty[ about time] We have been on sea duty for 6.6 yrs now! well we have had our hearts set on Cali! y??? well because its new to us, we are east coast ppl who have never been to the west coast. so why not. well Cali wasnt even an option unless he goes IA n i stay in cali. due to current events me giving birth before we leave here, his dad passing away.. IA is not an option we are willing to even discuss. our options for this month are Oregon[recruiting] Washington State[ have no idea what hed be doing] Germany[ we decided not to take any overseas for shore duty for our familys sake] Virginia[ this is not an option for me i hate that place with a passion] and finally Key West [NAB] key west seems the logical answer which is fine im far enough that family just cant drop by but close enough that we can go visit if we choose. The only issue with it is that when i googled the housing just seems off adding to the fact that we are closer to cuba than miami!! if only i could find more info on it to even consider giving it a chance.. ughhh this is so difficult! im hoping next months orders look so much better or have atleast a better set of options. Initially before my FIL passed away we had said if the "hot billet" was for a ship we would take it to get out of japan, but things have changed on that.. He needs to be somewhat closer to family meaning anywhere in the 49 states works for him [ Hawaii is considered over seas so thats a No] 

OK sorry bout that lil rant.

The time is coming that my son is turning 2!! [ where did the time go?] my baby is becoming a bigboy! His bday is all planned out n everything [except gifts] has came in the mail =) i thought it take longer but no im soo glad one less thing to worry bout. Hopefully it doesnt rain. Now its time to plan my own babyshower.. emm yea this seems kinda tough for me i dont really care for ppl here and none of my true friends can actually attend =/.
