Gyros in Japan

As most of you know i live in Japan. well today after my husband got his newest tattoo, we went to get a quick snack since it was closer to dinner time than lunch. i had remembered seeing a place that said "Kabobs"! The only reason i remembered it was because the guy spoke english n his line to get us to eat there was "We speak English" LOL.. yes kinda lame but when you live in a town where the base is maybe 3 miles longs n 90% of the locals dont want americans here the littlest things stick out!

The above picture is was the little place looked like! you can either order through the to go window or sit inside.. maybe 50 ppl fit inside. well i was skeptical at first because well.. gyros are not really associated with japan! lol but  i was starving hungry n said why not! When we walked in the owners n their youngest son were working and all stopped to great us and thank us for picking their locatiion. [ i dont think many americans have found out about it yet].   The prices are awesome.. between me n the husband we spent 1100 yen [ $11] for 2 regular sized gyros n 2 Lg drinks!! was it good you ask?! YES  very delicious!! i plan on being a frequent customer =)

This is what a regular sized gyro looked like.. they also have  small n lg!! i couldnt even eat it all!!! hmm wonder what a lg looks like! if you are reading this and you live in Sasebo.. you really need to try it!
